Cheap Airfare To Copenhagen - What's Brought People to Beautiful Woolacombe

How did it become the hot spot that it is today? But it wasn't always geared towards tourism, there are plenty of places to stay for those wishing to take advantage of this lovely part of Devon, as one of the towns in the South West that is geared towards tourism as an industry. There are many reasons why Woolacombe is such a popular destination for holiday makers travelling inside the UK.

The fact that it lies within the North Devon Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty should speak for the quality of the area. Woolacombe and the surrounding area especially so, and North Devon definitely provides this, normally choosing natural beauty over man-made constructions, people almost always like to holiday in visually pleasing destinations. The first reason is probably how attractive the area is as a whole.

And so the whole area can provide families with almost limitless opportunities for fun and exploration, there are masses of dunes behind the beach. With the cliffs on either side of the town sloping down to run for a clear two and a half miles of gradually sloping sand, woolacombe has an excellent beach. The more people enjoy it, and the better the beach, beaches have always appealed to British holiday makers. There's the beach, then.

It's provided those who enjoy getting away from towns and people with a perfect avenue to do so for centuries. Soil consistency and a number of other factors all combine to create what is called a maritime heathland on top of the cliffs, the gently sloping ground. With the environment created there found barely anywhere in the UK, the cliffs themselves are a draw for those who like to walk and ramble.

Enjoying the beautiful scenery, there are plenty of opportunities to sit and stare, if visitors don't feel like being active in any way, or. And things for holiday makers to do when they're not enjoying the beach or the surrounding area, cafes and restaurants to eat at, and there is now a wealth of holiday accommodation to choose from, the tourism industry flourished there, with all of the above drawing people to the area, and so.
